Vehicle Restraints

Vehicle restraints are designed to improve dock safety by securing the truck to the loading dock when loading or unloading.

Hydraulic restraints are automatically activated with a simple push button control and can secure a truck with a 32,000 lb restraining force with a mounting force in excess of 100,000 lbs
Automatically adjusting to trailer height for safe, efficient loading and unloading: This restraint is designed to prevent unscheduled trailer departure, trailer creep and tip-overs.

Mechanical Vehicle Restraint is an affordable manually operated unit designed to secure the truck at the loading dock.

The nonimpact invisible alternative - This type of restraint is recessed under the dock pit and offers unobstructed access for hydraulic lift gates and smaller delivery vehicles.

  LOW PROFILE MANUAL VEHICLE RESTRAINT
  • Improving safety with strength, convenience and reliability. An affordable manually operated unit designed to secure a truck at the loading dock by engaging the rear impact guard with a large barrier. The housing/barrier combination is stored down and clear of incoming trucks while protecting working parts from weather and debris. The spring-loaded barrier automatically adjusts to various heights of trucks and maintains position during loading. Instruction signs are provided for both driver and dock attendant. The operator easily activates and stores the barrier manually with a control bar. The low profile barrier stores at only 9" high and raises to 30" to restrain all types of rear impact guards.

  AUTOMATIC VEHICLE RESTRAINT
  • Automatic Vehicle Restraint AUTOMATIC VEHICLE RESTRAINT A premium automatic unit designed to secure a trailer at the loading dock by engaging the wheel with a large steel chock. The chock is stored above grade with an integral sensor that when deployed will seek out the rear wheel and automatically provide a secure hold on the trailer preventing forward motion, known as trailer creep, or an unscheduled departure. Simple controls and clear instructions and signal lights make it easy for the operator to position and release the vehicle restraint. Outside signal lights and signage communicate to the truck driver when it is safe to approach and leave the loading dock. The above ground assembly acts as a guide for proper positioning of the incoming trailer.

  RECESSED VEHICLE RESTRAINT
  • A premium automatic hydraulic powered unit designed to secure a truck at the loading dock by engaging the rear impact guard with a large hook. The restraining hook is stored back of the building face and clear of incoming trucks within a pit cavity below the dock leveler, away from weather and debris. The unique reach and grab aspect of the hook leaves no gap between the hook and the trailer, essentially eliminating trailer creep and preventing landing gear collapse. The hook automatically adjusts to various heights of trucks and maintains position during loading. The operator easily activates and stores the restraining hook with the push of a button. The hook reaches out from the stored position and holds rear impact guards as low as 9" high and rises to 30" while extending 14â horizontally to restrain all types of trailers.

Wheel Restraints

  SURFACE MOUNTED RESTRAINT
  • This premium automatic surface mounted hydraulic powered vehicle restraint seeks out and restrains the wheel of the trailer.

  AUTOMATIC WHEEL RESTRAINT
  • Automatic wheel restraint is designed to secure a trailer at the loading dock by engaging the wheel with a large steel chock
